"I met pastor joe while I was at a men's sobriety home in New Jersey. It didn't end up working out there. And I was homeless stranded in New Jersey he brought me food and payed for half my bus ticket back. I love you pastor joe. Words can not express how greatful I am. I have not been to this church but I know pastor joe and have herd him speak at men's Bible studies. He loves God and he loves being a pastor. If anyone is looking for a church and live in this area I sincerely encourage you to check out Calvert Chapel Crossfields.☺️"

"This church has truly become a second home to us. We've been attending church there for about a year now and we just had our wedding and wedding reception there. From the very first time we went to Calvary we were welcomed by everyone- Pastor Joe's sermons always teach us so much and help us relate the bible to our own lives, the nursery is a place that we immediately felt safe leaving our 2 year old twins, and the overall atmosphere of community and love is so refreshing. The women that take care of the kids in the nursery are friendly and trustworthy, all of the staff members from the greeters to the pastors make every Sunday something that we truly look forward to. The church itself is beautiful, spacious, organized, clean, and it was the perfect place to have our wedding. Pastor Paul and Claire worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding I cannot thank them enough for how amazing they were throughout the whole process from the premarital counseling to the rehearsal and decorating to the actual ceremony and reception the day of. We just can't thank everyone at this church enough for being our second home and our second family, it's such a wonderful place to go every week!"
