"It took me some time to write this because I wanted to be as clear of mind before I shared this. Two months ago, my partner lost their father and had a plot purchased for his burial. On the day of the ceremony, the priest wanted to do one last prayer to say farewell, and the manager of the cemetery immediately went into an outrage after observing the prayer was in a different language. Following this, the cemetery refused the burial, and I have been livid since. To say that the manager is disrespectful and unprofessional is an understatement. As loving and inclusive as we’re taught Jesus was, it’s painful to see how this establishment conducts itself. All of that outrage over someone speaking a different language."
