"Great place for birdwatching and wildlife sightseeing. We went there to see the short eared owl and Northern harrier and saw them both. They were really active during the evening between 4 and 5:30. Photos of owl and Bluebird were taken by Eileen Oles."
"Great place for easy walking in diverse surroundings. Walk on long paved paths or farm paths through fields and woods. Bikes are welcome and can maneuver either terrain. This park connects with other parks so the paths are almost endless."
"You have access from here to several of the nearby trails including the maidenhead trail lot to get to the pole farm . If you want to better understand the history of AT & T and how the towers came to be you might like this small attraction. I would park near the blackwell lot if you want to have more access to all the trails. It has asphalt which is great for when it is raining and you do not want too much mud. The land is flat. Based on my fitbit it says its about a 2 mile walk to get here. I jogged in about 20 minutes or so to get here. There is a ton of horses from the nearby farm. But you can really just chill out without people nearby. Parking is free but note you need to park the 2 miles out. I find it nice on a cool 55 degree weather day. Not sure if I would go there if its like 70 plus with the metal everywhere."
"Beautiful, well marked and maintained trails and facilities"
"Very interesting place with great history of AT&T international call short wave radio station from 1930-1950 presented via placards throughout the park. I personally learned a lot while having an enjoyable walk along the beautiful nature trails that stretch for miles."
