"Most of the staff are very nice. There are select staff not friendly. Mixed reviews on the assistance for contacts for the younger crew. Don't answer messages, need to call multiple times for appointments"
"I took my 3 year old daughter to see Allison Dertouzos after she had multiple ear infections and other problems. Allison was as kind and informative as one could be. She took a conservative approach to helping my daughter, so that a three-year-old wouldn't have to undergo unnecessary discomfort. Allison had amazing rapport with my daughter and remained as long as needed to answer every question I had -- and I had many! I'm very happy that my daughter is in Allison's care!"
"One word "RUN" I saw Dr. Chetan Shah for some issues with nose bleeding. He did the diagnostic testing and told me I have bacterial infection. Put me through 4 different rounds of different antibiotics with no improvement in the condition. Only after going through hell 4 times and thousands of dollars, I decided to seek another opinion. The new doctor said the previous diagnosis was wrong. Those bacteria are present in 80% of people. Gave me over the counter allergy medicine and my condition improved right away. Chetan shah would rush through appointments. Didn't take time to explain anything at all. Just trying to squeeze as much money as they can from gullible patients. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!"
"If I could give absolutely 0 Stars I would. When calling for the appointment, I asked to make sure they were Pediatric ENT. They had said yes and even arriving I saw plenty of young children. I had to take my 4 1/2 year old son there due to Ear issues, Nose issues, and Throat issues. Ya know ENT. I didn't sit in the waiting room for long, but as soon as I got into the room, the doctor I saw immediately gave a "get out" vibe. First question I was asked was " how is his speech" I informed the doctor that my son was autistic and nonverbal. He immediately WITHOUT even looking into my sons' ears goes "He needs tubes". Negative because if that was the "Fix All" problem to nonverbal children a lot more parents would be having them done. After I told him that he has already had tubes in the past, I then let him know that we are also here to get other things checked out. Finally, he looked in my sons' ears and said again that he needed Ear Tubes. After, he then went on about how I will need a second opinion (He was my second) I explained this to him and he kept going around the questions I had and felt like he was in a rush to get out of the room. I asked him to please check his throat and ear please due to problems he was having. Still going around that and telling me how i will need to find a surgery center closer to me (he is only 45 minutes away) the other ones he suggested were FURTHER. I ask again for him to check his throat and nose and he tells me i will need to hold my son down cause as he said " my son is difficult" I then had to explain to him NO he's not difficult he is AUTISTIC. HE finally check and scoped him explaining what he saw. To end the 10 minute visit he just kept telling me no you'll need to find a different surgery center and closer so its "not harder on me for the healing and that im close for an emergency" Please tell me how you would think it would be easier for an emergency after knowing where i live and suggesting a further location? DO NOT go to this doctor if your child is autistic! They treat you like garbage and just make it seem like there is something bad about a child that just needs different ways to approach the situation. I will never recommend this place TO ANYONE!"
"Time is the most valuable non-renewable resource any of us has. To waste the time of another by neglecting their needs is inconsiderate and such treatment can be seen as quite cruel when the individual in need is suffering and helpless. I visited this practice with debilitating vertigo so severe that I couldn’t stand without the aid of a walking stick, and I won’t even belabor the fact that I waited for over an hour past my scheduled appointment time before being seen by the doctor. I saw the doctor who confirmed my symptoms and referred me to another place for further testing and treatment. Although the doctor provided a note indicating that I was not to drive, my employer required additional documents be completed. I sent copies of the forms from my employer to this practice so that I would be in compliance with my employer’s requirements. After providing the documents, I received no response from the practice and called them multiple times over the course of a week, never speaking to a human, leaving messages each time, asking when they would have the forms completed, but no one would give me the courtesy of a return call. In desperation, I finally had someone drive me to the office so that I could hand them the forms in person. When I arrived, I was told that person responsible for completing such paperwork was at lunch and the practice said I would receive a call later. Much to my surprise, later that day, the practice actually returned my call. To my even greater surprise, they informed me that they only complete employer forms for surgical procedures. After wasting a week waiting in vain, I had to go to a totally different doctor, where I was evaluated and diagnosed a second time just so I could be in compliance with my employer. Not only did this practice cause me to waste both my valuable time and money, their refusal to complete a simple form and utter lack of courtesy to respond to my multiple calls is unprofessional, and in this case could be seen as rather cruel, seeing as how the practice was aware of this policy all along but couldn’t be bothered to tell me this by returning one of my many phone calls. Maybe they’re a good place to go if you need surgery, but if you have debilitating vertigo, and need documentation for your employer, don’t waste your time."
