As a key local government office, we are dedicated to ensuring the proper and efficient administration of Hopewell Borough's operations. Appointed by the Mayor and supported by the Council, the Borough Administrator leads our team in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating interdepartmental activities, and advising on policy decisions.

Our responsibilities include executing state laws and local ordinances, recommending improvements, and overseeing the preparation and administration of the annual budget. We also maintain a continuous analysis of programs and services to ensure optimal community support. In addition, the Borough Administrator serves as the purchasing agent for the municipality.

Our Tax Collector, licensed by the State of New Jersey, is responsible for the billing, collection, and recording of all taxes on properties within the Borough.
