"What a location. Stunning, breathtaking. Like a time machine back to simpler days. The dirt road swings left tight onto the stone arch bridge, and the old mill house looms high against the blue sky. Cotton candy clouds. The stream is loud and happy, rolling away under the span. The historic homes that look down from the close hillside are equally stunning. A small stone stairway on the west side of the span leads down to the water. A grassy spread on the north side of the mill house is a perfect place to just breath and take it all in. The decorative iron "S" anchors on the mill still hold the strong steel cross wall rods that were a hallmark of construction in the days that this beautiful old girl was built. A wonderful first stop on our "tour of history" yesterday."
