"Unfortunately this place has had the bridge out for over a year. The county says they are in no rush to repair the bridge because it doesn’t inconvenience many people. Trucks would simply move the plastic chain and traverse the bridge for the past year. Now we tried to visit the museum and they put up Jersey barriers. Thanks for nothing Warren County! Our taxes are high enough snd we get this nonsense."
"Be forewarned. We drove up from Roxbury on Sunday only to find that entrance road was closed with no access to the park. All the sign said was "Closed For Repairs"."
"Excellent preservation of Morris Canal history. Thank you Lee family! I also am enjoying your book."
"Unbelievable testament to men from 100 years ago & to the Father of the Morris Canal's preservation- Jim Lee Sr, and his son & grandson who have honored their ancestors & history with dedication, love and kindness. A must see for a fun-loving historical experience. An engineering marvel which is also a National Engineering Landmark."
"This park is simply a treasure for anyone who enjoys canals, transportation, or technology history. The highlight of the park is the walk into the tunnel to see the old turbine, and to hear from the man who helped his father uncover it. There is a small museum with a short video and some canal history. Check the website for the open days, I think it is one Sunday a month in the summer and fall. It is a great place."
