"Great getaway for the weekend. Have stayed at these cabins (8, 9, 5) and always enjoy my time there. In the winter the wood stoves are great at heating up the space. In the warmer months be sure and take bug spray (We were bothered by the American Dog Tick, not the species that carries Lyme). The office is a short drive away where you pick up keys and can purchase firewood. It is nice and dry. There are roadside stands with wood but it is often damp and does not catch fire as quickly. The cabins are well appointed and rustic - fridge w/freezer, stove w/oven, kitchen and bathroom sinks w/hot water, toilet, (no shower in the cabin, but there is a shower facility within walking distance), table with benches, chairs, bunk beds and two twins, two entrances and outside is a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. An excellent value and I recommend it."
"Went in gr 6. Stayed coupled days. Beautiful and magical"
"Awesome place to stay, can reserve online with State of NJ. Very reasonably priced. Rustic real log cabins built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. equipped with bathroom and small kitchen with wood stove for heat."
"Built in 1934 by the Civil conservation corps. These are very basic but have electric and a wood stove. Beautiful location on a pond. Stayed in #2 4 single beds with 2 being a bunk. Not super comfortable. Beautiful spot in the park with access to lots of trails."
