"I've switched to Amazon pharmacy for the majority of my scripts because of the long wait times. Occasionally one gets sent here by mistake which is a hassle. One specific med was not covered by my prescription plan and was supposed to be billed with a discount card instead. I constantly had to go in person and have them make this switch (why can't this be saved as default for this med?). I would gladly pay shipping to avoid wasting my time in the store, but because of this billing issue that needed to always be manually fixed in person, I can't. Staff are mostly friendly; just feel like they are overwhelmed and need more help or something."
"It’s high time you hire the staff to accommodate your clients. Excessive waits in line or in drive thru is the norm. Or is it the corporate accounts you have are enough to disregard service? If I wasn’t forced to go here by my company insurance I’d go elsewhere."
"I encountered the most disgusting, rude and disrespectful, black woman that works in the pharmacy section. I took prescriptions which are usually taken into this location with no problem from the same doctor. She didn’t even look in the system. She refused to fill them. She made some rule that I have never heard since using this location or any other CVS, this medication is needed for a terminally ill cancer patient who is a 100% Vietnam combat veteran. She needs to be fired immediately. I am also writing to corporate. This is something that should not take place at your local pharmacy. I will not stop complaining and writing until she is removed. My Uncle was in so much pain last night and so sick we had to rush him into the hospital at 3 AM. I’m going back to find out her name exactly and I’m gonna continuously complain about her. Remove her."
"Thus pharmacy always has delays with processing my prescription for simbrinza eye drops which I cannot skip even a day in usage. Every time I order this medication they ask to wait 2 days minimum because they never have this medication available. 2 times they made me to pay full price 180$ with no reason. One time they had thus medication but they ordered them from another cvs and made me wait explained silly that they could give those drops. Every time I have refills from doctors this cvs has issues to proceed my receipt. This time they told to wait a week while I ordered drops 2 days ago. I can understand sometimes providers and medication companies don't deliver medication in time. Knowing this why would not you guys order some extra bottles for regular customers who come with the same prescription 3 years in a row? I recommend to avoid this pharmacy and leave complains on their official website it seems they react only there."
"I'm giving one star because it makes you click on one or more...But this pharmacy doesn't deserve even one star! I've been a customer at this CVS (Somerdale to Stratford) for 25 + years. I even worked there while they were located in Somerdale for about 5 + years. The last few years have been horrible! Two hours after I dropped off my perception I went to pick it up (the time I was told to come back) my perception wasn't ready and they couldn't find it. After 30 minutes of watching them run around, because I wasn't leaving, the girl found my written paper perception in her pocket! They never run my daughter's perceptions through our insurance, trying to make us pay full price. We've had them "correct " their system multiple times. My husband picked up his medicine, not his first medicine to be filled here, and the wrong address was listed on his medication. They never called me to let me know they didn't have my medication. Two days after my doctor called them to fill it I went to pick it up... that was when they decided to tell me they haven't had the medication in the store for a while. I was told that I had to call my dr to have the dr call the perception into a 24 hour CVS pharmacy because the 24 hour pharmacies have more medication on hand, which eneded up a nightmare with my insurance because the insurance co thought the medication was filled here! CVS refused to call another CVS to help find the medication or help clear up the mix up with my insurance. I had to do the leg work. Not to mention, the app on my phone was saying the perception was "in process". Yesterday, I received a text saying my perception was ready for pick up and my app was showing the same. The girl at the window was nice and said they couldn't find it and were trying to locate my filled perception. The women pharmacist finally came to the window 20 minutes later with my medication. She never once apologized, no smile, just asked for the money gave me my medication and closed the window on me while I looked at her... like really!? They always look miserable! The customer service is terrible. The pharmacy closes for a lunch hour, which I understand, but now they are only opened for 5 hours on Sundays. You would think they would use the time from closing up the pharmacy to the time the store closes to catch up on calls or filling prescriptions, but I guess that would be too much. When I worked there the pharmacy opened when the store did and closed a half hour before the store did! Funny there were no complaints and always happy custimers. We debated for years to leave, but kept hearing other places were just as bad. I read comments on the Rite Aids in our area, which sounds just as bad! Although, I at least see a response from Rite Aid corporate apologizing. Doesn't look like CVS ever answers these complaints. Looking for suggestions on a better pharmacy in the area, if that exists!"
