"I am ashamed to have recommended this place to my parents. The owner Nas could not be bothered to check his own contracts before delivering a ~2000$ recliner claiming he did not have to move anything. Once he found my parents indeed had paid extra he claimed he did not have to haul away like his agents who sold the chair and service said. He started saying his employee ed is new therefore knows nothing. Therefore as the OWNER of this business, Nas does not have to honor anything his employee said or even attempt to make amends. Would not even attempt to negotiate or behave in any reasonable manner but started screaming he is moving furniture we bought as a courtesy. I fail to see how this is courtesy, when we even paid for gas although we live less than 5 mins away. His reply exact words “courtesy costs you 95$, family is free which seniors usually have none” He really needs to look up the meaning courtesy in a dictionary. We did not have to purchase at this place at all. We could have paid at another store further away for white glove service. We chose this place because it was local business and we wanted to purchase more furniture(which we were in talks of, but will not be taking here anymore). If we weren’t so desperate because my mother was nearing the end we would have refused and demanded our entire money back. Tbh we were going to go away with just having the fee refunded and move the original furniture to the side but then he said he would pocket the 95$ anyways. Either we let them haul it to the curb, which we did not want or he would not wait or help move it to the side. In the end we decided to have it hauled to curb because we doubted he would pay us the $ back. An owner who goes bonkers over that amount is untrustworthy. Now i trust the negative reviews as probably accurate. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life from a local businessman. I encourage people to buy local to support businesses, but NEVER again at this shop. The star extra is only for their employees who were far more decent than the vindictive owner."
"DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! FRAUDULENT business practice. We paid extra to have our old loveseat hauled away to install an expensive powerlift chair. The guy came and said he would not haul the loveseat away as previously agreed. He said that they don't haul away furniture at all only chairs. He would take over 100$ to move a furniture even 1 foot in the house and called it a COURTESY. We pointed out a 100$ payment for moving a furniture to the side is NOT COURTESY. They made it clear this is normal operation. Free is FAMILY they say. We could pay a stranger for MUCH LESS to move it that much. We talked this over extensively with the store agent who said the store OWNER said the agent who dealt with us is new so it's not their problem that he gave you false information. This was unnecessary stress when my wife with bone metastasis was dieing upstairs. When I was in the store there were also other mixups with senior citizens purchasing powerlift chairs. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING FROM HERE. They seemed also very annoyed to be called in when their repair was not done. We were going to purchase a medical bed due to convenience as soon as the paperwork came in but we have decided against it. TRUST the people who said this place is bad. It is. It's only good until they get your money."
"We had a great experience at Monroe Medical Supplies. Brenda was wonderful and patiently walked us through the Medicare process to get a walker for my spouse. Everyone there are great to work with. I highly recommend them."
"Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful, lots of items in stock and on display, for trying out especially. Ellen is so very good with elderly customers; very, very patient and calm! Really no need to go anywhere else."
"I spoke with Noz. He arranged a pick up at my home. The man that collected our wheelchair and Drive scooter, Brian, was very helpful, patient and arrived timely. He did call me to tell me that he was on his way and would be here in 20 minutes. He was a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this company for any medical needs that you might need, as their heart is in the right place and they are very committed to helping their customers. Susan Alexander, Princeton, NJ"
