"I have to go along with many of the other reviews. I ordered a 12 inch running light and was sent a 24 inch light which had a tag on it describing it as a 12 inch light. After receiving it I immediately contacted customer service and was told that a pickup would be issued to me and the correct size light would be sent. All to occur ib 3-5 business days. Well, you guessed it. Nothing happened and I had to contact the company again. Talked to another representative (heavy accent which made it difficult to communicate-plus I don't hear well) and was told that my item wasn't in stock and when I showed some anger and frustration, all of a sudden it is in stock and here we go again with another 3-5 business days. It has been over a week again and I have heard nothing from the company. I am calling my credit card company to dispute the charge. In the meantime, I have a light that I can't use and a company who can't fill an order. I should receive a computer generated apology letter soon after submitting this review much like the others received. Extremely disappointed with this company. I have made purchases from many marine suppliers and have never had an experience like this. Thwy have my email address and phone number and I am still waiting. All total, I have been waiting for.more than a month. Anybody out there need a 24 inch running light? An FYI, the person who owns BoatID also owns CarID and MotorcycleID. I.have not done business with either but if you need car or motorcycle parts you might want to be concerned that you might have a similar experience. Just wanted to add some followup information. I "easially" contacted the manfacturer of the light as they were concerned that they might have put the wrong identification on the light. When I provided them a picture of the sticker on the light they indicated that they do not use a sticker, but a hanging tag with the information. BOATID was not dealing with the manufacturer as they indicated. At least in this case and, I bet, in other cases as well. Who knows where they obtain their products, but in this case it did not come from the manufacturer. As we can see, they seem to use the same lines with all of the disgruntled customers. I, like many others, will continue to discourage others to use this "marine supplier". They give the industry a bad name and lie about their relationships with manfacturers."

"I bought all new pontoon seats. It did take a little longer to get than expected and i began to worry about some of the reviews i had read after i made the purchase. I believe they shipped 5 days after the expected ship date, about 13 days after purchase. But they did get here and look great. The price was the best I found, and i looked everywhere. So, consider me satisfied."

"DO NOT order anything from this company. If I could give them no stars I would. On July 5th I ordered 2 25 gallon fuel tanks. 8 days later I received 2 25 Liter fuel tanks. I spent over $700 and received $150 worth of tanks.. They would not issue a refund Until the wrong tanks were received back at their warehouse therefor holding over $500 extra. They received the tanks back 6 days ago 3 business days ago and I am now being told that it will take 5 to 10 business days for them to process the return before they will issue a refund. So now I'm out over $700 since July 5th With no product. This company is worthless. They have nothing in a warehouse and get product thru other companies. Customer service sucks. They act like they care but do absolutely nothing for you. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM....... I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER THRU THEM."

"I wish I read these reviews before I shopped here. I placed an order for Chicago Shoulder Screw Eye Bolts (5/8" ID). BOATiD sends me the incorrect size (5/16" ID) then proceeds to tell me the size I requested is not in stock "after speaking with the manufacturer". Mistakes happen, but here's why I am bothered enough to leave a 1-star review: 1. As of writing this review, it still says that there are 8 IN-STOCK of the size I requested on their website. 2. The incorrect size I received (5/16" ID) isn't even offered on the website. 3. Receiving a return label took 7 business days (11 total calendar days). Extremely slow return process for a mistake that the company made. Simply put, don't shop here. Again, mistakes happen, but this type of mistake feels dishonest."

"I had a little mishap during tournament and destroyed my prop. Was unsure what kind of prop to replace it with and I had heard about BOATID and figured I would check them out. What a great choice, they were full of great info and recommendations and very helpful. I ended up with the Turing Point Mach 3 Express Stainless steel Absolutely fantastic. These folks are awesome and they have a customer for life. And one final thought, their prices are amazing."
