"Unless you or your friends or family happen to live there, there is no reason to be in Trenton which is not a felony, or at least a very serious misdemeanor. Knowing this, you will not be shocked to learn that they have built a Trenton TRANSIT Center (emphasis mine) expressly for the purpose of getting you across this jewel of Jersey as quickly and efficiently as possible and with all your limbs intact, or at least as tact as they were when you got there. But, no, my friends, you would be mistaken about the purpose of this nomenclaturally challenged institution, which has clearly been designed to extend your time in Trenton as much as possible. It is not uncommon for your train to Philadelphia to be pulling away just as your train from New York is arriving, but don't worry. There will surely be another connection within the next five hours or so, leaving you free to people-watch the various comings and goings of the denizens of the Trenton Transit Center station, from the painfully obvious dealer doing deals on the bench across from you whose Drug Dealer brand (TM) fur coat has not been updated since the 1970s to the hooker trying to solicit you whose teeth were last cleaned the same year that dealer bought the coat. If your connecting train does appear to be waiting for you, don't delay with over confidence as you will regardless have to run up the stairs and cross the tracks two or three times before the station finally finalizes its final decision regarding the location of the train, much like a subatomic particle which exists simultaneously in many locations of a probability cloud until the fact of your observation collapses the probability, forcing the prodigal particle to be in one place at one time. To observe the particle, one need merely build a particle accelerator and smash some atoms together at very high speeds. Would that boarding a train in Trenton could be so simple. Weary travellers must also purchase a paper ticket from one of a small handful of ticket machines, the lines for which are filled with tourists who take twenty minutes a piece, and in separate transactions,to purchase tickets, one at a time, for themselves and each member of their extended family, and sometimes their domesticated pets. I have accidentally wasted away many hours of my life in this station, doing almost everything except transiting. If in twenty years you see me by the Dunkin Donuts in a fur coat, be a dear and get in some euthanasia practice until you get it right."

"When you walk in the high stench of urine greets you. At first I thought it was the entrance, it no, it is coming from the bathroom and the smell gets worse as you get closer to it. In a poor attempt at humor a sign leans near the bathroom entrance that says "closed for cleaning". Clearly that sign has never been put to use."
