Located at 102 Fire House Lane in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Shawnee Fire Co is a dedicated all-volunteer fire station, committed to preserving life and property from fire and other hazards in Shawnee-on-Delaware, Minisink Hills, and surrounding areas. Since our founding on February 14, 1945, we have proudly served our community for over 75 years, providing essential support and cooperation with neighboring fire departments.

Our Mission

We are volunteers who proudly protect the places where we live, work, and play. Our mission is to deliver the highest level of service and professionalism expected of our company, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

Support and Membership

Operating as an all-volunteer department requires us to raise funds to function efficiently. Our members, who are both active firefighters and administrative supporters, engage in fundraising activities, serve at community events, and contribute to our operations. Our Facilities

Our new station is equipped with five apparatus: two brush trucks, a tanker, an engine, and a supply pumper, while our original station houses a rescue truck. We take great pride in maintaining these resources to serve our residents and guests.

Acknowledgments

We are grateful for the ongoing support from our community and major contributors, including Ski Shawnee and the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort. Our operations are also supported by funding from the municipalities we serve, rental of our social hall, monetary contributions, and community events.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are currently not holding activities in our social hall, and some fundraising events have been affected. We appreciate your continued support through secure donations.
