Newton Medical Center

"Ever since Newton Medical Center became a part of Atlantic Health, it has completely transformed into an absolutely top-notch hospital. My dad has been in this hospital twice recently, and the care was absolutely impeccable. Best of all, the discharge instructions are very, very easy to understand-- everything from medications, follow-up appointments they made for us and follow-up appointments we need to make for ourselves, and a thorough and patient explanation about what my dad's condition means going forward. A transition nurse (an actual RN) as well as a social worker called my dad frequently to check in, make sure he's following his aftercare instructions, answer all of his questions, and connect him to other services. I've never, ever seen such a high level of care, competence, and "on the ball" than what I've experienced with my dad in this past month. We were worried when my folks moved to Warren County (too far from Morristown Memorial), but with Newton's grand transformation, we are comfortable knowing exceptional care is around the corner. I know this review sounds a little too good to be true, but I'm seriously blown away. Kudos, kudos, kudos!"

"I've managed to be a patient in this Hospital 2 X and I have to say the care that you receive from start to finish it's unbelievable the doctors and nurses take their time. They listen to you and take their time and explain everything to you and tell you all your options and let you know what alternatives you have and what programs their are that help you and nurses constantly checking on you the care team that I had for the three-day visit was truly amazing thank you I was in room 259B / if you need general info use there website thank you every one"
