"My family has had a membership to this location for over 10 years. Unfortunately they are under new ownership and have put in place so many new rules that are incredibly restrictive and not customer-oriented. Previous ownership was a dream and so helpful and understanding. I can't imagine they will be able to maintain this business while hemorrhaging loyal customers who the previous owners worked so hard to build up. So disappointed I can't go here anymore - it's giving corporate girlie who quiet quits because she's having a little breakdown. This massage envy is having a major emotional breakdown and it is now the pits. The ONLY good thing about the new ownership is Star - she gave me an incredible massage and was wonderful and not her fault new ownership is bad bad no good. Star if you can see this RUN - YOU'RE SO MUCH BETTER! Peace out - I never even write things like this but ew they now have yucky vibes."
"As you can see from prior (mixed) reviews, this owner (new ownership) and management are having a hard time being customer centric or understanding what customer centricity means. Service is terrible. Rules change without notice. We’ve been members for 8 years now and that’s not worth anything to this organization - don’t waste your time. Go across the street to the new massage place next to Starbucks. Update: worst outcome than I had expected. Charging a cancellation fee because they won’t allow shared membership between husband and spouse (new policy, did I say we’ve had that membership for 8 yrs). All because their facial person isn’t licensed in microderm and we didn’t want facial without it."
"Cool, clean, relaxed environment prepares you for a positive experience. I have been a client of this ME for 10+ years, and I love the place. I found the perfect therapist for me, and I have a standing weekly appointment. It's a very individual experience and, therefore, you have to find the right person for you. Be clear about your needs, ask questions, and maybe try a few therapists until you find the right person for you."
"This site doesn’t really care too much about your concerns. I was promised a call back from the manager and never heard from him or her. I sent an email and even contacted corporate to let them know about the experience I had, in which case they said they’d escalate my issue on my behalf and let the owner know to contact me. I still have never heard back and it’s been over a month. I give up. I’m never going back."
"Extremely disappointed. I booked a microdermabrasion. The appointment was listed as an hour appointment for 1 pm. The technician came to the waiting room a few minutes late. Once I was settled & waiting for the technician to begin the service, the machine wasn’t working. She tried getting it to work for about 5 minutes before getting the owner. The owner came in to assist however it disrupted the intention of a relaxing experience. Once the microdermabrasion started it was approximately 1:20. She provided the treatment & I had my shoes & jacket on my 1:40 pm. The service was a $140 service, well overpriced for a 20-minutes of a direct service. I was also very uncomfortable that the technician was not wearing a mask. Her face was extremely close to mine and I could feel her breath on my face. I understand Covid restrictions have lifted, however when someone is treating your face, I believe they should mask (as all nail techs do & they are further away in proximity)."
