"Needs weekend service!"
"It's just a drop off and pick up spot the build It's self is close."
"I took the train from Bridgewater to High Bridge because I like trains. When I got here I had to wait for the train back to Bridgewater for 30 minutes. Although the train stays there normally with the doors open, which I got off for 10 minutes then got back on. I do not know if every train will do this because some may go to a train yard after that because my wait time for the train back compared to other trains later in the day was short. I was a little dissapointed with the train station because it is very dilapidated the station building is boarded up the ticket machine (which there was only one) only took debit the day I was there so luckily I bought the tickets in Bridgewater. Although I thought after the Raritan train station the ride was more scenic because there was less conductors and the view right before approaching High Bridge Station was stunning because you are up on a huge hill and you get to see the forest down below. Also you got to see some hills. To conclude I would give this station 3 stars because of nice scenery (on train ride) but dilapidated train station and infrequent service."
"ok. here is my formal opinion on the high bridge train station. i like to look at things that are not good and think "hey, this could probably be worse!" the high bridge NJT station basically REFUSES to follow this model. it could literally only be worse if it wasn't in operation at all, and it barely even operates, at that. (i suppose this is moreso the fault of NJT for only servicing half of the raritan line on weekends.) as far as fundamentally operational train stations go, this is almost definitely the worst you could ask for. literally its only benefit is accessible transportation- WAIT, NO, NEVERMIND, IT'S ALL STAIRS. CAN'T CLIMB STAIRS? DRIVE TO ANNANDALE, I GUESS. honestly, i am really considering utilizing the annandale station from now on; even if it's a tiny bit farther, at least it's more than just a HUNK OF CONCRETE ON A BRIDGE that's only accessible by two stairwells and doesn't even have a ticketing office!!!!!! good luck waiting in unforgiving weather for your ride with only an overhang to shelter you, by the way!"
