"Genesis makes beautiful vehicles but servicing the vehicle is another story. I have a 2019 Genesis G80 Sport. This is my second time getting my vehicle serviced here and the location is around 2hrs away from me. The first time was for a recall. I also told them my tire cap was broken and can they replace it. When I got it back and drove it home, I realized they never replaced the cap. Fast forward to the second time getting the vehicle service just last week. I took the car in for a fuel pump recall, an oil change and told them there was a problem with the speed sensor and causing the car to throw codes. While servicing the codes, I was told the tech said I had the wrong tires on the two front wheels, and that’s why I might be throwing codes. So I said if that was the case, how come I didn’t throw the codes months ago. Also if the tires were the wrong size then how come that wasn’t told to me during the first time I serviced the vehicle there. There were answers to those questions. I told them my reader said it was a rear wheel sensor and to re-look. I received a phone call later and it was indeed the rear wheel sensor. They wanted me to buy two brand new tires which would not have even solved the problem. I got the car back but I did not do a walk around. Silly me. While driving it home, I heard rattle from the sunroof which wasn’t there before. Also I realized too late the area where the wiper blades and the windshield, that area was separated. It was not aligned properly. It definitely was not like that when I bought the car in for service. I do not know why they would’ve touched that area. I called Friday late afternoon regarding it because that’s when I realized it was messed up. After constant calls, I was able to get a tech to call me back an hour later just to be told to send in pictures so to see if I can fix it myself and I won’t get an answer until Monday. I did not want to drive 2hrs to fix something that should not have been messed up from the beginning. Also I was afraid it might rain and water gets in it causing damage. It rained Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The dealership still has not contacted me or returned any of my calls. It’s extremely unacceptable to get your car back from service messed up and then having to go to the local mechanic and pay for it to be fixed. I give 2 stars because they did the recalls while Genesis of White Plains refused to do the recall because I didn’t buy the vehicle there. They also let me hold on to the loaner a lot longer due to an unexpected emergency."
