"This was such a unique visitation experience. The house is so ecclectic! The art is beautiful and the collections...oh my word...its just impossible to describe! If you get a chance to do a tour, I definitely recommend it, and encourage you to bring a camera. There's as much to see outside as in so plan enough time to wander and take it all in. Entrance is $20.00. Its a constantly evolving project so its probably not a one and done kind of exploration. Loved it!"
"We were fortunate to get to tour this whimsical wonderland, where delightful details await you around every turn! This home is full of inspiration and wonder, and has given me so many ideas for upcycling every day items into functional, artistic elements of home decor! The house is open for tours at only certain times of the year, check their website for details. The owner/artist was there to answer questions and give an overview, but the tour is mostly self-guided. You get to see the house and grounds. Groups are limited to small numbers, which is great so you never feel crowded, but also means you must book ahead. Parking is on-street, but the street is super quiet (it's a bit of a steep hill, so if someone in your party would struggle with climbing hills or stairs this may not be as enjoyable for them). We drove quite a few hours to check this out, if it were closer I would definitely go back because I don't feel you can see it all in one visit."
"Such an incredibly cool place, I hope if I'm ever lucky enough to own property that it's a fraction as whimsical and magical as Luna Parc is. Will definitely be back at some point so crazy cool"
"On a bright spring Sunday, two friends arranged for me to visit Luna Parc and meet artist Ricky Boscarino who is still creating and expanding his masterpiece. It began with his small house, decorated with found objects, including a wine cork lined kitchen. As Ricky collected more items, he enlarged the house and built upwards and outward where he designed and installed beautiful wood floors and completed a mosaic encrusted bathroom with a grouping of bedpans affixed to the ceiling. He created a garden with more found objects, plants, and bottles around his home. See my photos below which encompass only a fraction of the joys and oddities you will find in and around every corner of Luna Parc. Don't miss Ricky's gift shop, either. Ricky designs and sells intricate jewelry and pottery with stunning glazes which reflect his love of color and his passion for creativity."
"Totally magical ~ It's like the artist put himself in the brain of Dr. Seuss. The artist Ricky B. is a delightful, quirky misfit of the best kind. He doesn't fit a cookie cutter. His ability to work in clay, plein air, weaving, portraits, architectural surprises, remarkable gardens with sculptures and irregular shapes. His avid collecting from all over the world, and his spontaneity, and use of different materials show is depth of ability, a peek into his mind, and leads you delightfully flying on a cloud as you leave. Plan ahead for a tour or classes of this gem. This summer is almost already fully booked. This is his home environment so be kind. 3/2024"
