"Nice quick stop for a cool destination. The trail is overgrown and hard to follow. The trail runs near the marsh. It’s about .3 miles from the parking lot."
"Faery Cave isn't that deep, nor that wide, but it's interesting if you'd like to explore something a bit different while at Jenny Jump State Forest. The trail from the parking lot to get there hugs the edge of Ghost Lake, but isn't very long to get to the cave, which was easily accessible when we went there. While the main cave isn't particularly impressive, I found some of the other, smaller voids connected to it more interesting. Though I didn't climb into any of them, an intrepid soul may find them rewarding--or get stuck trying to climb into them, as they have much smaller openings."
"It gets more difficult to get to every year.. Eventually it will totally blocked by fallen trees. Still it is a cool thing to see. It is more of a shelter but it was used by the natives probably since the time of the glacier pull back. They even found giant sloth bones in there."
"Be warned. It's a very small cave and not worth going out of your way to see... but nearby Shades of Death Road and the trails at Jenny Jump are worth checking out if you're in the area."
"Went to ghost lake, and it's absolutely gorgeous during the winter. Didn't walk on the ice because we didn't see that many footsteps and weren't sure how thick the ice was. We ended up walking around the ice for a bit until my friend heard noises and I didn't- we just blew it off. Then my friend walked ahead of me and I heard the noises too but this time my friend didn't. We ran to the car. The place is supposedly haunted after all."
