Reviews
"Good place to start trail and head to Dunnfield Creek, there are few parking spots so hopefully you get lucky in holidays."
"Beautiful little area along the Appalachian trail. Well maintained. Parking is chaotic on weekends and you have to park a hood walk from the start of the trail sometimes, but it is well worth it."
"Honestly it is good parking and a good spot to start the trail, but be aware that by midday on Sunday the lot was completely full and they were about five cars with people just waiting to take available spots. So I guess the high demand does indicate the high quality of the location, but be aware that if you're not there early, it's going to be stressful . People were getting a little desperate when we pulled out of our spot and there might have even been a fight to get the spot."
"Park here to go hiking on Appalachian Trail, Dunfield creek, sunfish pond or mount Tammany. Go early as this parking fills up quite quickly."
"First time here. The trails are in great shape, very well maintained, and wide...easy to follow. Lots to see and many waterfalls. A picture takers heaven. Following the AP trail the trail that cuts to the right leads to a bridge crossing the creek. The railing on the downward side of the creek wobbles. So just use caution and don't lean on it. The bridge itself is solid! I didn't go past the bridge because I am an avid AT fan and I want to see a section I haven't traveled before. Like I said, the trails are in great shape. Very enjoyable hike :)))"
