"Been awhile since my last review yall!! If you are ever in this area and looking for a great spot to eat you will not regret giving this place a try food amazing the most difficult part of this restaurant is making it through the many many menu choices will update with pics later!! My son loved it he's 3 thought he was going to get us kicked out they let him enjoy himself like he was part of the family love this spot will be back very soon!!!"

"Winner winner chicken dinner. Wife and I gave this place a try as we love soul food from time to time. I had the chicken wing dinner (see picture) with green beans and Mac and cheese. It was wonderful and the quantity was enough to give you a belly full. My wife had the fried whiting, Mac and cheese and broccoli. She commended the establishment on how light the breading was and appreciate how it was not over done. I also had a side of mozzarella sticks and a fruit punch. If you stuck a gun to my head and said you must say something bad about the food. I would recommend getting the broccoli without the garlic butter as it made it a bit salty and the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks was a bit sweet for my preference. (Please note these are NOT good reasons not to try this place as they are very simple fixes.) The prices are beyond affordable and reasonable and the service is spectacular. This is clearly a family owned business and they make you feel like family as well. Y'all know how important good service is to me and my reviews. I happily left a tip. I would give this place another star if I could it is that good and we were that satisfied. They certainly earned themselves another visit and likely many more after that visit. "The ribs were good and I enjoyed the bbq sauce . The fried whiting had a good flavor however it was not crispy at all. I was not a fan of the sides that I ordered (greens and mac and cheese). The greens were very bland. The mac and cheese seemed to have some type of cheese sauce mixed in it. The taste of the cheese was similar cheese wiz and I honestly couldn’t finish it. The banana pudding was watery and the wafers were mushy. Overall, I was disappointed with the food especially for the price I paid and the amount of time I had to wait (40+ minutes)."

"Love their new location (lots of parking, a bit closer for me). There's always indoor seating at this location, so you can dine-in if you choose. The owners are always a pleasure to speak with; happy to support a local business I've been here several times and the food is always good! picture caption won't stick - I got the fried tilapia platter (w/ mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese); also came with a side of cornbread"
