"Loved my first experience at Cafe Nitido. We had empanadas (massive with beautiful pastry), mofongo with ribs, and whole snapper with tostones. Service was excellent and food was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed meeting the family that runs this restaurant and I've heard the live music nights are fantastic. Can't wait to go back."

"We had the blessing of experiencing Cafe Nitido with our friends in celebration of one of their birthdays. From the minute we walked in, I knew it was going to be amazing. The young man who greeted us was warm, welcoming and friendly. The vibe is chill, but stylish and intentional- even the bathrooms were themed; the music was on point and set a nice ambience. Everything is clean and the staff is on point! The Owner came out and greeted us and answered all of our questions and made recommendations. There were six of us and we had the entire place to ourselves. We literally ate from each section of the menu: Their portions are super generous! Drinks: Fresh juices and frozen drinks (N/A) Appetizers- Veggie tacos and calamari- delicious! Oxtails, Carne guisado; rice and beans; sweet plantains; red snapper with mix veg and shrimp mofongo. YUM! Desserts- creme brulee, flan , tres leches cake... SOO GOOD! If I could give this place 10+ stars I would totally do it! Go there NOW! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ *I can't wait to come back here!"

"I ordered a very generous portion of oxtail with moro de guandules. The oxtail was great, as were the pigeon peas and rice. Even the smaller lunch portion left me enough to take home for another meal."

"Wow! A terrific restaurant on the main street of Audubon. The food was amazing. I had the Dominican Grilled Pork Chops, my wife had the Beef Stew and our son had the chicken quesadilla. This is real Caribbean food done right. Everything cooked to perfection. The owners and staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Definitely worth checking out. Beautiful images of the islands playing in the background made me long for a trip to warmer climates in these winter months. We'll definitely be back to Cafe Nitido again soon."

"We've been here a few times and every single time it's been a great experience. Food has great flavor, the staff is very friendly and a very lively atmosphere especially with the music. Los Tres Golpes is my favorite. If you haven't tried Dominican food, give them a shot."
