Reviews
"As a fan of the Triumph in New Hope, I was excited about the new location, but this Triumph just isn't it. There isn't a single vegan entree on the menu, which was a shock to us since all the other Triumph locations offer *something*. It made for a really awkward dinner since I couldn't order anything besides an appetizer. I will GLADLY update this review when they make their menu more inclusive like all their other locations do."
"We were impressed by the Modern vibe, not your normal brew pub. The bar area was jammed and we were lucky to get a table to dine. Food was interesting and excellent. Special appetizer was crudo hamachi over watermelon, very fresh and delicious. Fish special was a hit. I had the steak frites. I can compare this dish to the same served at a few other places in town and think triumph may be the best. Overall, a city-feel eatery and bar with excellent food."
"My family and I were vehemently excited to finally dine at the new opening of Triumph Brewery; we had previously had a great time at the location in New Hope. We were sorely disappointed. Initially we noticed the prices were high, as expected; not a problem. However, we waited quite a while to be greeted, and everything went downhill from there. The pretzels we ordered would have been better from a microwave dish. Our server, Ruban, was not exactly friendly nor helpful. He talked to us as if we were children (we are in our 40s) and proceeded to clean his ear with his finger while taking our order. His service certainly did not help. However, in general, nothing about the food we ate was anything beyond “okay this one actually has some flavor”. I expected more from this company. Bland food, mediocre drinks, poor service, and management was of no help. There are plenty of great restaurants in Princeton. I understand this place is new, and they are working things out, but I wouldn’t go back unless I hear things massively change."
"Had a great time here! Atmosphere is amazing, food is even better! Our server/bartender Ryan was awesome. Service was great and staff is very friendly! We will definitely be coming back."
"The long-awaited opening of Triumph was well worth the wait! I had an excellent time at this new establishment and was impressed by the efficient and well-coordinated team. The service was quick, and everyone was alert, with managers being exceptionally hands-on. The menu is diverse, capturing elements of various cuisines. I particularly enjoyed the cheese platter, which made me feel like Remy from "Ratatouille," pairing cheese and fruit. The braised lamb was excellent, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. The desserts are a product of pure genius; the pineapple rum cake and warm rice pudding with espresso whisky ice cream both had remarkable depth of flavor. The desserts are a must-try! Triumph is centered around beer, which I usually dislike, but the Gose was amazing—slightly salty, extremely refreshing, with little to no bitterness. My partner enjoyed the Hazy IPA and the Bengal Gold, and we also tried the strawberry rhubarb Aperol spritz and the espresso martini, which were both delicious. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be returning for more of their desserts."
