"It has been 30 years since my last visit. It hasn't changed a bit. Except for maybe TVs behind the bar. Like I never left. Pizza is every bit as good as I remember it. Don't hesitate, check it out!!"

"Conte's restaurant in NJ is a hidden gem with a nostalgic exterior that resembles a house. The lack of a front door adds to its unique charm. Stepping inside feels like a journey back to the 60s and 70s, reminiscent of a juvenile cafeteria. Despite the dated ambiance, the real star here is the pizza. Ranking among the top ten I've ever had, it boasts culinary perfection. The crust has no flop, the tomato sauce is light, and the cheese achieves a delightful balance. It's undoubtedly the best pizza in the area. Opt for takeout and savor this culinary delight in a picturesque picnic setting"

"Went here and got a cheese pizza to assess their basic pizza quality compared to other local pizzerias. We found the cheese and sauce to both be lacking salt, which made for an unsatisfying pizza. Service is timely, although ambiance is quite crowded. Would recommend somewhere else if in Princeton."

"Conte’s is amazing. It’s an unassuming establishment inside. Old fashion tables in the dining area with a long bar area also. The pizza is what makes this place amazing. It’s hard to describe but it’s an amazing pie. The menu also has salads and sandwiches but the headliner in Conte’s is the Pizza. Many different variations to order but I love the plain cheese pizza the best. The crust on the pizza is amazing. Conte’s is always busy and the customer service is always spot on. They have service down to a science. If your looking for a great pizza night out Conte’s is your place to go"

"A little ways off of the beaten path, Conte's bar and restaurant is a sure hit with the locals. On the outskirts of downtown Princeton, it's a 12 minute walk vs a 5 minute drive. My family and I had a plain pie and a salad, which was just lettuce and onions, a Bluemoon, and a glass of chardonnay. The pizza was just fine, and the servers were pleasant and accommodating. A lot of large families come there and especially enjoy it. Cool spot, maybe next time we'll try other fare there besides pizza and salad."
