"I have stayed at this hotel many times and EVERY TIME was a wonderful experience from the service, staff, quality of the food, and the manager Juan who it very professional, kind, and accommodating. He goes above and beyond to see that his customers are happy and satisfied. They have a customer for life in me!"
"Everyone was super friendly, from front desk, bartenders, and maintenance staff. A big group of us were up there for a wedding, and there was a mixup with the shuttle that was supposed to take us to the ceremony. The manager and some of the staff were super generous by offering us rides to the place, and got us all there where the wedding was held. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. I would recommend this place, we had a great time, no complaints!"
"As soon as we arrived there was nobody to be found! We waited around for the clerk to come back to his desk for about 20 minutes before we went looking for him. I asked a couple of patrons if anyone worked here and they said yes I saw them go into that dark room right there. Needless to say after I walked in and yelled into the darkness does anyone work here a disheveled man and woman came out and to the desk about 2 minutes apart from each other!! What were you doing in that dark room for 30 minutes friends!?!?! This was irritating but manageable what was really disgusting was the dirty sheets with blood remnants! We ended up changing rooms for the night and deciding never to return!"
"The hotel itself is fine, but for anyone from Virginia or somewhere with a black and white picture on your ID they will not serve you alcohol at the bar."
"I had the absolute worst experience with the Ramada in New Hope, PA and I definitely suggest any future brides to be super cautious when creating a room block through them. I normally don't leave bad reviews, but I had so many problems with them that I had to write one. Where do I start? I recently got married in October 2013 and called to create a room block for our wedding well over a year in advance so that we could get enough rooms for the amount of guests we would be inviting. When I called over to the front desk in New Hope, they told me that I had to call corporate to create the block. I called the corporate number from the website and created a room block easily over the phone with a very helpful and friendly lady on the other line. This turned out to be a huge mistake, and if I wasn't told to book through corporate to begin with when I originally called, I absolutely never would have. Then the issues started. We sent out our save the date with the room block information on it for all of our guests so they could start booking their rooms. I can't even tell you how many times this happened, but so many of our guests contacted me and said that they had called over to the Ramada and were told that there we no room block under our name for the wedding. Being a bride with so much to deal with already, they really made it a difficult experience for me. I called over numerous times, my dad called numerous times and even went up to the hotel and every time we were told that the room block was in there, but the person who answered the phone behind the counter that day just didn't know how to access it. This seriously happened more times than I can count and caused so many issues; it was just absolutely ridiculous. Apparently, if you book through corporate, the front desk associate needs to look under a new screen on their computer to find a room block and the person on that day didn't know how to do it. I understand that if someone is new there is a time for learning, but this happened 5 or more times so I don't know what the issue is there. Once again, if I wasn't told to book through corporate, I definitely would have booked directly through the New Hope Ramada. The manager was not very nice, gave me attitude when I would call and pretty much blamed me for setting up the room block wrong. She was not accommodating at all when I told her all of the issues I was having and continued to blame me for setting it up wrong instead of righting the problem or making it better. In the end, more than half of our guests just booked on their own and unfortunately did not get the wedding block discount and less than half of our guests booked through the block. I will say though that the guests that stayed there said the rooms were nice and so was the bar and restaurant area. It's a nice hotel, but the staff needs to get it together. It's one of the only chain hotels in an area where a lot of weddings take place, and everything was just completely unacceptable to me as a customer. Brides beware before choosing to book rooms here! And if you do, make sure you do it through the actual hotel, no matter what they tell you when you call!!"
