"When I left New York to move here December 2019 I thought that moving here would have been a great idea since my family was here I absolutely regret putting my children in this school system instead of homeschooling there's extreme bullying and a school does nothing until your child retaliates and then it's a huge issue and God forbid a parent like me who don't tolerate that call the school and they want to make me wait two or three weeks to have a meeting with any teachers or anyone now the only reason why they put that black woman as the superintendent is because the white man they had was Justice racist just as racist as the teachers and the students they're not reprimanded my son has been called the black monkey he has been degraded and they will not do anything so when I tell you I believe in lawyers and lawsuits if you bring your kids here bring your kids here make sure you have a lawyer in your back pocket you're going to need to call them"
"Worst experience ever had at a school . This is sad but I will deal with it ! The bus is always late for school , and the bus driver don’t care . The system needs better people for the children education. Caring teachers at all times when it comes to learning from the beginning to the end of every year"
"Horribly/grossly mismanaged system with little no no true leadership or oversight. My children rely on the bus for transportation to and from school due to their mom and I working full-time but atleast 2-3 times a week a bus is either late picking up or even hours late dropping off. Always excuses and no results from the "staff" and other board members. Superintendent is more concerned with photo ops rather than actually I don't know actively finding viable solutions for their many problems. They claim there is a shortage of bus drivers which is probably true seeing that they are still only offering wages that would have been applicable 4 years ago with no adjustment for inflation (but I'm sure the board members paychecks have all increased to adjust for the hard times). Why drive a bus when you can work fast food or retail stores when they offer higher wages and benefits? It truly feel that they do not care about the children or the parents, phone calls are met with attitude and frequent hang ups. This administration is truly disgraceful and improvements must be made. Hopefully the state of Georgia takes an active role in correcting this current blunder we are suffering through here in Camden."
"Extreme bullying. I have a disabled child and had to pull him out due to extreme bullying. The school system treats the parents like trouble makers for bringing attention to such things. I guess I rocked the boat by saying my child was crying himself to sleep every night. Three years of torment with nothing done. My son is happy to be out of this school system. *Believe your child.... *Don't believe this school system..."
"The ignorance and incompetence of the Camden county school system never ceases to amaze me. Not only are our children nothing but little statistic generators, but I pull up to pick up my two kids at DLR elementary school today and see a new two foot tall two rail fence that serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever except wasting tax payers money. Thanks again for wasting my hard earned dollars!"
