BIKE, SCOOT OR YAK

"Rent from another company! I would give zero stars if I could. We were given bikes that could not be ridden because of rusted chains. Chuck the owner gave us a hard time about returning the bikes early because they could not be ridden. He claimed it was superficial rust. He does not know my family and I were the ones who tried and could not pedal! Four days were spent with back and forth email. All I wanted to do was return the bikes. This company refused to pick them up until the return date. The person who dropped off the bikes knew that we were given bikes we could not ride due to rusty chain, but left them anyway. I have it in a text message. Bad business. I did not want to continue to do business with this company, but they would not come pick up the bikes. The owner is unprofessional and Bike, Scoot, Yak does not provide any customer service. Use this company if you want the owner to argue with you for four days on your vacation. Save time and money and rent from another company on the island. That is what we did and had a great time on unrusted bikes!"

"Where do i begin with John Welsh’s personal service! My daughter is 3 and we wished for a bike day however most of the Island bike companies either wished to charge an arm or a leg for the Bike child Carrier, only had one that was already rented or they didn’t carry them at all. John was not only helpful, kind and patient with a mom whom was juggling at the time of the call but he even went so far as to drop them in the place of my own choosing on island and technically a half hour early so we could get in the fun! I will only use the company in the future and most likely again in the coming weeks. Thanks again for such a fun time! Can’t wait to return for the amazing service!"

"We went down to their place and they must have over 100 bikes of every shape and size. The place is huge with scooters, kayaks and who knows all what else. They had the mens, womens boys and girls bikes to meet our families needs. They even had a dog trailer that attaches to the bike, so Fido can be on the family ride. We didn't bring our dog this trip, but will next time. Anyway we wondered how we were going to get all our bikes back to the vacation rental, and they offered free delivery and pick up service. How cool is that? The prices were good, the bikes were all nice and correctly sized, and they gave us all the safety equipment for the kids. This will be our new go to place to rent our bikes in the future."
