Located at 136 Shell Drive, our shop has a rich history that began on St. Simons Island in 2001, founded by Gary Jackson. What started as a passion project in Gary's garage grew into a full-fledged business, thanks to the dedication and skill of our team.
In 2004, Brandon Weis joined the Southern Thunder family, bringing his expertise and enthusiasm to the table. As the business expanded, we relocated to our current address in Brunswick, marking the official launch of Southern Thunder. After a brief hiatus, Brandon returned in 2020 as the lead mechanic and business partner, with a vision to drive the business forward.
In April 2022, Gary passed the torch to Brandon, and Southern Thunder became part of Weis Cycle, LLC. Today, we proudly serve Brunswick and The Golden Isles community, offering top-notch motorcycle repair services.
