"Yes this place is great both fishing and paddling is awesome but there has been a recent a incident with vehicles behind broken into and items stolen. If possible you will need to park on the side of the road as the parking area provided is not visible from the road. Just be aware make sure to lock your doors and keep your valuables on you at all times or leave them at home. Update: The brush has been cut down that was along the buffer hill in between the parking lot and Hwy. Also if you use this area or any area provided to us please respect it and take your trash with you when you leave. Thanks to the DNR officers that keep us safe and in check."
"Great place to pee in relative privacy along a busy 4 lane."
"Nice quiet location to enjoy the outdoors"
"It's just a launch and/or pick up point, but the water is great. There are no other services here, so don't expect a porta-potty or trash barrels. Overnight camping is not allowed and I'm not sure why any one would want to. There are better places for that down stream. There are bald eagles in the neighborhood."
"Great place to put your boat in the water."
