"If you like your clothes, you do not want to use this cleaners! The ladies that work the desk or Pleasant, however, whenever there is an issue, it’s a disaster dealing with the owner and the other managers offsite. I brought in a pair of white trousers to have a one spot removed, picked them up the entire bottom of the trouser was ruined by the dry cleaning chemicals they used. When I return to have them re-cleaned they made it even worse. Upon speaking with the manager, she accused me of damaging my own trousers. They were ruined. I will never use this dry cleaners again and encourage everyone to avoid using them at all cost."
"Absolutely terrible customer service. We had a drop off on Saturday for six shirts, three sports jackets and a three piece suit. They require payment in advance which is fine with me. Payment of $40.29. On the slip, she had down pickup on Tuesday after 4:00 pm, and she even mentioned this to us. I did not go in on Tuesday, but rather waited a day after and went in on Wednesday at 4:00 pm. The worker was extremely rude to me. She starts off by saying the factory delivered the items and there was no order. She scurried about looking for the shirts, suits and sports jackets. She then proceeded to ask me when I brought the items in, and the slip I gave her clearly indicated Saturday, so she could have figured that out herself. She then told me that if the items are brought in on Saturday, they will not be ready before the following Thursday. I then told her that the worker on Saturday put the date down for Tuesday, we did not ask for this date, she gave it to us, and if she would have said Thursday, I would have been there no earlier than Thursday of course. She then said the worker on Saturday should have manually changed the date, whatever that means. Clearly, this was a store problem. She scurried about for over ten minutes looking for the items. At no point did she ever utter any kind of apology for this clearly store issue and obvious customer inconvenience. If she had and said something to the effect of: "I am sorry for the inconvenience, please kindly wait and I will assemble your items shortly", I would have said, sure, no problem. However, her attitude was accusatory towards me, like I should have somehow known that the items would not be ready until Thursday, even though the slip the worker gave me said they would be ready on Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. At a time when more people work from home and do not require any dry cleaning, you would think that they would have a semblance of proper customer service. Not at all. The behavior of this worker was rude and offensive. She seemed to be blaming me for coming in to pick up my items on a day after the day set forth by the store. Extremely rude. I will not be back to this store, EVER, and will tell everyone I know who needs dry cleaning about this rather negative experience, so they will stay away as well."
"Before the previous owner sold the business it was the best place to go in St. Louis. The people who bought tip top don’t care about the customer. The staff is very polite i really like them. It all went wrong when they stopped cleaning and pressing at that location.They ship the clothing off to a outside place!! On top of that they lost on of my Suit Blazer. The quality have suffered every since."
"The owner Melanie is very rude. She does not take accountability of her staff messing up any garments and when you speak with her she becomes irate and hangs up the phone on you. My partner got her greek lettered jacket cleaned at Tip Top and they used the wrong heat on her jacket which caused the sleeve to shrivel up. She has been trying for months to get this resolved with no avail. We are now trying to get the jacket from tip top and they are giving us the run around. The "owner" is stating that she gave the jacket to them damaged, but just like every other cleaners it would have been stated on the initial paperwork and neither time of taking the jacket to them did it state the jacket was damaged. If you have any garments of importance do not use Tip Top on Market or Greener Cleaners on Clayton, the owner is horrible to her customers. If I could give I would give this review 0 stars."
"Although the prices are more competitive, the quality of service is lacking. Dress shirts come back wrinkled with inconsistent use of starch. There is also a funky smell, not the typical dry clean smell in the clothes. Would love to use them since they are close to my work."
