"Such an awesome little store staff super friendly. I didn't have the money to buy anything but will be going back to do so. Meow meow"
"Large and impressive inventory. Comparable with a Barnes & Noble w/ prices that are competitive with Amazon. With that said, there weren't really many deals to be had. In a two level store, I found one cart of deep-discounted trade paperbacks. There were quality non-fiction authors on the discount cart, which was impressive. I like trinkets and souvenirs, but there were none that were reasonably priced. A coffee mug (made in China) for $17. Stickers for $4. Postcards for $2. Ambience is nice, but a little cramped. Animal friendly - there is a cat rumoured to live there, and a customer brought her dog with her. Parking could be difficult. I don't live in the area. I visited on a Sunday, and a local resident told me that street parking was free on weekends. Otherwise, I would have tried to pay. Also, the street meters claim to want my plate number, which I am not willing to provide to a random machine on the street. If I need a new-release book in the future, I will call and check Left Bank Books against Amazon for pricing and availability."
"It's a lovely little shop with some interesting looking books. The entrance is accessible but there were some tight corners, and all of the good books were downSTAIRS. Luckily, I had someone to help me back up the stairs."
"One of my favorite bookstores. They have a great selection and very friendly staff. It’s a very welcoming space. I’ve found a ton of great deals on their used books in the basement as well!"
"I love their selection of books! It felt like I was seeing everything for the first time—even books I was very familiar with. Great staff recommendations, too!"
