"Very cool historic Catholic cemetery"
"Took time to explore some of the historical areas within the Sharon, GA area. This is a cemetery that is supposedly the oldest and first Catholic Cemetery in Georgia. Some headstones are hard to read and nature has taken it's toll on them over the years. 1794 being the first recorded bury and many more over the years. Bernard Darden whom's family was a special part of the Sharon area. Grounds and the area are taken care of by Purification Heritage Center. Gate are open from 8:30 am until 5:30pm Mon-Sun."
"Very interesting, recently maintained (Oct '18) almost 200 year old graves. Cemetery is across the road from pin on map. Paved road turns to gravel shortly before cemetery on right. Sign in photo visible, but is .2 mile farther than on local signage."
