About the Business
Welcome to St. Paul Churchyard: A Sanctuary of Peace and Remembrance
Located at 7600 South Rock Hill Road in St. Louis, Missouri, St. Paul Churchyard offers dedicated cemetery services in a serene and beautifully landscaped setting. Our rich history dates back to 1856 when St. Paul Evangelical Church established its first cemetery, reflecting a commitment to providing a respectful resting place for the community's beloved departed. Over the years, we have expanded and relocated to our current 125-acre site, part of the historic Ulysses S. Grant Farm, to continue this legacy of care.
At St. Paul Churchyard, we understand that each family has unique needs when it comes to honoring their loved ones. We offer a wide range of cemetery services, including traditional funerals, cremation, and memorial services, all designed to help you create a meaningful and personalized tribute. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way.
For families choosing cremation, we are proud to present the St. Paul Churchyard Cremation Garden. This beautiful and distinctive space offers a dignified resting place, the opportunity for a graveside service, and a commemorative inscription in Missouri Red granite stone. With all these elements available for just $1,000, the Cremation Garden provides a thoughtful and affordable option for honoring your loved one.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the caretakers at St. Paul Churchyard. I never want to disturb them because they are always busy. I hope that this message somehow gets to them. My son and my husband are both buried there. The caretakers always respect my privacy while I am paying respect to my boys. I also appreciate that they replace my many grave decorations after trimming around their headstones. I truly appreciate their kindness and hard work. Thank you so very much!"
"Arguably one the best kept cemeteries in the area. I live nearby and walk my dog there daily. The staff is always working."
"We walk through this quiet, beautiful cemetery daily, since we moved to a neighborhood near by in 2009. The crew is constantly working and mowing to keep things looking nice. A paved winding road makes it's way through the entire property, which makes it is easy to access sites if you have trouble walking. The trees and hills make it such a peaceful place. There is plenty of room between each site. One of the things I love the most is flowers stay on the grave throughout the year only to be seasonally removed for cleaning. We are looking into purchasing space now for the future. I trust St Paul Cemetery to take care of us when we are gone so it is easier for our family."
"I’d like to give you a negative 5. Absolutely disgusted at the lack of upkeep. I couldn’t even see my grandmother and great grandparents headstones. We spent 20 mins pulling the long grass and weeds away. Stop being lazy and disrespectful and take some pride in this beautiful cemetery where loved ones are buried. St Paul’s use to be one of the most beautiful and well maintained cemeteries. Is it under new management?"
