About the Business
South Broadway Art Project (SBAP) is an art gallery and store located at 3816 South Broadway in St. Louis, Missouri. At SBAP, you can get a crash course on the Potter's Wheel and learn the basics of centering, opening, pulling, and throwing clay. Classes on wheel throwing and hand-building are free with passes and monthly memberships, or you can attend a Clay Date Night for a crash course.
Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student, you are welcome to explore your creativity at SBAP. Your membership gives you access to expert instruction, tools, glazes, free classes, kiln firings, pottery potluck events, and more. Tuition assistance is available, and SBAP hosts adult classes in partnership with St. Louis Community College.
Pottery pick-up is available on Saturdays, and you can check online to see if your pottery is ready for pick-up. Consider giving the gift of a creative experience at SBAP, and plan your next professional development or private event at the institution. Community-centered events are held throughout the year, including potlucks, seasonal firings, fundraisers, and gallery events.
