"I want to preface this review with saying, I am not one to leave a negative review, in fact this is the first time I ever have in my life. That being said I feel that it is incredibly important to do so this time. 3 weeks ago I called about intense coughing fits and having a hard time breathing and they said that they would schedule me an appointment that day (Okay great very quick). They said all they have is a nurse practitioner which I said was okay considering the fact I thought that they would still be able to figure out what was going on. Keep in my that the 3 years I have been coming here I have only met the ACTUAL doctor (Doctor Michael Hemmersmeier) once and that was the first time I visited. I go there and explain all of my symptoms and they took a strep test which came out negative. The nurse practitioner said i just had allergies and sent me home. I actually thanked the nurse practitioner bc I thought she actually cared. 2 1/2 weeks go by of taking a cough medication she prescribed to me and allergy meds that I took consistently and they both did absolutely nothing. After awhile I was in excruciating pain in my lower ribs, and I called them and told them and they said they would give me X-Rays. X-rays come back negative and they did NOTHING about it to try to figure out if anything else was going on after explaining multiple times how much pain i was in. Due to how much pain i was in I went to Urgent Care 1 hour later and within 20 minutes they listened to all of my concerns and pains, diagnosed me with bronchitis and told me that because it lasted so long I now have bruised ribs on both sides, that will take 2-6 WEEKS to heal. They also gave me a steroid shot, 3 medications to heal me, and gave me an inhaler which I didn’t receive from my doctors office. After writing this whole book (i’m sorry) I would just like to emphasize that I’m not even particularly mad i have bronchitis, I’m mad that it’s such an easy thing to diagnose and I wouldn’t have bruised ribs and be in so much pain if they would have actually paid attention to what was going on and done their due diligence.
