"Fish fry was disgusting. You can taste the oil on the shrimp because they are not cooking it correctly at a high enough temperature and the end product is soggy shrimp soaked in oil . The cod was mushy and oil soaked as well. They didn't put salt on anything and it all tasted like cooking oil soaked mush. This was absolutely a waste of my money and time. A Dixie cup of ice cream and box cakes for dessert, absolutely hilarious. I'm pretty sure the shrimp and cod comes from sams club, and taste like it as well. Absolutely disgusting. Cooked by amateurs and that's a compliment at best. Putting large amounts of food in a fryer lowers the temperature of the oil letting the oil seep into the batter and breading. Using grocery store quality fish and shrimp is a joke, not seasoning anything is a joke. This isn't difficult so I will do the heavy lifting for you since the church like many churches is run by incompetence. At the end of mass ask if anyone with culinary or commercial cooking experience would raise their hands or send out a email to parish members, then ask those individuals for some simple cooking tips like oil temperature and oil types and the such. Then call companies like us foods and Kuna or any major distributor in st.louis and ask if you could purchase for your church fish fry and get restaurant quality food. For God sakes use fresh green beans and not the God awful can green beans and the cole slaw needs sugar to cut the vinegar as it's bitter and terrible, all just really basic things. Serving warm can soda and a cup of mystery ice scooped up with a cup from mystery cooler. My God it was really sad and disappointing to say the least. You could have reached out to coke or Pepsi or local bottler excel and got them to provide product at a discount rate and used a soda fountain and got a way better return on the cost investment as well as brand recognition. But I have a feeling part of the problem is the people running the show. Really disappointing."
"The people here are really friendly. They have a delicious fish fry. A lot to choose from."
"As a parishioner for more than 30 years the community of All Saints is among the most caring, giving and friendly people I’ve ever met. Generations of families have attended Masses, parishioners events of all sorts not to mention the school activity. Led by Father Don Wester if a family needs help, there seems to always be a group of individuals, church groups & others to help. I know most people who are longtime members of any type of religious community think theirs is top notch. What stands out here is the consistency of people to go out of their way to live their faith expecting nothing in return & always willing to serve more people as their way of living their faith & trying to do as God has asked-“ Love thy neighbor…do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. That’s All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters, MO"
