On this occasion I was especially impressed by a checker who showed immense patience with a gray-haired lady who paid her bill with a group of gift cards, each valued at $25. Then the lady bought 4 more gift cards and added $25 to each of them. It was a tortuous process, but the checker never lost her composure. If everyone at Dierbergs is like this checker, and in my experience it is so, then Dierbergs truly is superior to other grocery stores."
