"I have been patient of Dr. Hinton for some time. I have seen nurse practitioners off and on but now I have so many medical issues going on I pretty much just see Dr. Hinton. Reading some of the other reviews I am somewhat confused. I think a lot of times a patient's opinion is going to be based on how well they bond with the doctor. Everyone is different, having said that I can say that sometimes I have to wait to see Dr. Hinton but if your not comfortable waiting for a doctor who obviously does such a good job he has a lot of patients then that's a choice you need to make. I would much rather wait than end up in a new office where the physician is not a good match for me or doesn't see to be able to catch problems before they become more severe issues. Obviously I think Dr. Hinton is great but the nurses are super nice to me and I have never had a problem with the employees greeting and doing scheduling. Dr. Hinton caught a problem that had been missed by other physicians and treating it has made a vast difference."

"My children had been seeing Dr. Umar, but unfortunately when he retired Dr. Paul and Jennifer Hinton took over for him. Since then my children have ONLY seen a doctor a couple times (Jennifer Hinton, never Paul Hinton) and for some reason they only schedule with the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner is fantastic, but not a doctor. I recently had my sick daughter in the office and of course was seen by the nurse, was told she could go back to school the next day if she had a couple doses of drops for pink eye and if her fever stayed away and then told us to come back if she got worse. She got worse and since I never see a doctor in the office I chose to take her to the E-R. It turns out she has pneumonia. This is not the first incident like this we've had with this office either and have complained about not seeing a doctor on several different occasions I would highly recommend staying away from this office!"
