"Church On The Rock has been my church home since around 1990 or 91. I even attended cotrcs in fourth grade and ninth grade. I have had a life that has had its share of struggles as we all have. The only home I've ever had is this Church home. It is where my father is in heaven and it's where my family is. Family are people that you can rely on and home is where your heart is it is, a place where you can always come back when needing rest. This is that for me, This is the only place I've ever known as home truly. I've never had a home where I could run where my physical family is. But I've always ran to this church. There had once been a time that much like Jonah, I wanted to hide from God and my church family in shame. I had been incarcerated and guess who ministers to that correctional facility? Oh, you guessed it.. Church On The Rock does. You can't hide from God. I sure did try. Luckily, for me, He works in low places, and despite my circumstances, he cared enough to welcome me home every time this prodigal daughter walked through the door. I am very much that prodigal daughter of Church on the Rock. I am so glad they always welcome me home. Pastor David Blunt and Pastor Kim and family, I love you from the bottom of my heart. Mr. and Mrs. Wagner, Mr. and Mrs. Himmel, Mrs. Stone, Ms. Jill. Mr Tommy Prater I thank you for the gift of baptising me last month. It was 31 years after I was first baptized as a child in the same church. I drove almost 2 hours to make it to my baptism after God redirected me suddenly and began healing what has been broken inside of me. I said I would take up my cross and go and wouldn't you know.. he had big plans. I love you and remember.. God is for you. Thank you, Church On The Rock for always welcoming me home unconditionally."
