"Not to come off too dramatic up top, but Dr. Levesque saved my life and my body and I highly recommend him as a neurologist. For a number of years I had been having an unexplained weakness in my right side starting in my ankle that other specialists attempted to diagnose and treat with no success before passing me off to another specialist with similar results. It wasn't until I requested an appointment with a neurologist that the picture became clear and I'm so happy Dr. Levesque was the one who brought it to light. He observed my physical disability (right side hemiplegia) and ordered an MRI on which he discovered a rather large brain tumor. He then requested prior imaging of my brain from another facility in a different state in which he was able to show me that my previous doctors had observed this same tumor over 11 years ago - though I had never been informed - and it had by now quadrupled in size. Because of his thoroughness in this manner Dr. Levesque was able to recommend the appropriate next steps and get me referred to a brain surgeon for a partial resection of the tumor which went extremely well. Thursday marks 100 days since the partial tumor removal and after lots of therapy I've gotten a ton of motor function back in this short amount of time. I'm just so thankful to Dr. Levesque because his quality care led to this success. I still have a long recovery journey to go but I'm immensely glad he's a part of the healthcare team that is ensuring I get the best care I need. 5 Stars."
