"Do not recommend! There billing is awful to deal with and it is difficult to get any kind of account information from them. They have overcharged me before and it took arguing and multiple phone calls to correct. As far as doctors... they do not properly educate you about medication and fail to inform of serious outcomes. Months later, my child still has unnecessary cardiac side effects that I was never initially informed of as even a possibility. The doctor sent my child away for one test and I got a phone call from a nurse several weeks later. They never even suggested seeing my child's Primary Care Physician for the rapid heart rate caused by the medication they prescribed or even followed up after that. The nursing staff doesn't care. I have had difficulties talking to them about very concerning side effects for my child due to the age. Everything I said was brushed off, including telling me to call back or go to the ER... So call back after hours when I can't get ahold of anyone? Go to the ER when its technically not an emergency... where the physician won't tell me how my child should be taking a prescription. And to top it off... when I got a phone call back, they didn't even confirm patient identification when they released private information to me.... which was the whole issue initially as to why they wouldn't talk to me. And this is how they treat people with mental health problems... No thank you!"
"Whoever answers the phones severely needs training as well as properly separate their home stressors from work stressors. Instead of hanging up on a caller with no explanation and then literally laughing when people call back, maybe actually inform them. I will never recommend people go there as I know countless people before who didn't get proper treatment from them."
"Told to take family member for care if in crisis due to delayed, under medicated treatment. Did so, now 2 weeks later family member far worse than went in! WTH is happening? Won’t tell us anything. 10/5/22 nearly 4wks. later from walk-in; won’t allow patient talking with family members under guise of no consent/HIPPA! Essentially kidnap patients, then ISOLATE them from their caregivers, who thought they took them in for ‘care/treatment.’ Patient not better, instead worse than went in 4 weeks prior. Bilking Medicaid/taxpayers? 10/14/22 Still being told ‘no consent’ to keep us from merely ‘talking’ with family member after speaking with her briefly 10/13/22 and finding out she was worse than when she went in early September, then the line was hung up on that end. Complaints to administration are without responses. A Manager at Robert Young - first time returning my call yesterday resulted in zero information about my family member, instead accused me of something I have recorded that I did not do! Intimidation and a threat, I felt. Be very careful about sending a loved one here; they essentially ‘kidnap’ your loved ones and ‘isolate’ them from family. 10/15/22 on hold 15 minutes total after two attempts at trying to speak to my sister. I believe it’s an attempt for them to say I spoke with my sister, but was unable to again. After holding for nearly 10 minutes, when I called back the same person answered immediately- that was to bring her to the phone, so I know she couldn’t have been trying to get my sister to the phone. Instead of my sister getting better after nearly 1 1/2 months she has gotten worse from when we took her there, and she has not called us - obviously, they will not let her call us, and we cannot speak to her or find out any information."
"The case managers are amazing . My specific doctor is inconsiderate , he doesn’t listen he makes me feel way worse . Every time I visit he wants to try new medications as if I’m a test dummy .! That is not help it only pushes a person to their worst . Get a second opinion .!"
"Staff is very unprofessional, giving my child medication that I’m against and stated numerous times, that I’m against it! Said, they would inform me of any changes or decisions, regarding my child’s care, they have not done no such thing, then lied and said they tried to contact me. They also told my child I keep calling and asking things and that I’m overbearing. Just what a child needs that’s supposed to be getting help! Had them document that they’re giving her medication against my will and without my consent. No level of professionalism, and they do not keep their word! Avoid this place at all costs, I will be contacting an attorney to deal with them!!!! Whatever you do, do not send your loved ones here."
