"It took a few people a long time and a lot of work to get this statue made and finally on display. Not a whole lot of folks know who General Patrick Cleburne was, but more should learn. He was a leader who fit the hero mold, yet broke with conventions of the time. He deserves more notice. This is a nice, tiny park on the side of US 41. Not a bad place to stop for a few minutes."
