As part of the Coastal Health District of Georgia, we proudly serve the counties of Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh.

Our mission is to prevent disease and illness, promote health and well-being, and prepare for and respond to disasters for all who live, work, and play in Liberty County. Our dedicated public health team offers a wide range of services including clinical care, environmental health, and community outreach.

Community Engagement:

Hurricane Preparedness:

The Hurricane Registry is open year-round for residents with functional, access, or medical needs who may require assistance during evacuations. Applications must be submitted 72 hours before the arrival of tropical storm force winds. To apply, call toll-free at 1-833-CHD-REGISTER (1-833-243-7344).
