"I am not normally a reviewer, but Bryan was so rude and unprofessional that I feel compelled to warn others who are just trying to get some work done on their house. If you do hire him, don't be surprised if you're disrespected and threatened and end up dealing with questionable workmanship and a delayed project schedule. He and his "crew" of teenage sons were paid by me for 90% of the job then out of the blue he sends me a rambling, angry and insulting text on a Saturday morning at 8am telling me to get someone else to finish the job unless I pay him upfront to come back and finish the last 10%. I paid him within 48 hours of receiving every invoice for the work that was completed and I tolerated all his excuses for why he couldn't show up to work when he said he would (truck trouble, houseboat leaking, etc.), so I had no idea what his problem was. I guess he wanted cash on the spot. When I asked for materials receipts, he complained, even though I told him from the beginning I required this documentation for this rehab project. He even threatened to sue me if I didn't pay him. It was laughable and sad, really. I hired Bryan on the recommendation of one of the reviewers on here (who is also his friend and gave him 5 stars) to install new windows in a historic rehab. Bad idea. In the beginning, Bryan told me the job would take him 30 days. Three months later I'm left finding someone else to fix his mistakes and finish the job."

"This owner and company took my deposit and did no work for 5 months. Scheduled installation and never showed up and when asked for my deposit back, refused to return it despite the fact they DID NO WORK FOR THE MONEY. If I could give them NO STARS that would be appropriate. Total scam company and owner. Consumer beware. This is an update on this company and the owner. I recently searched case net and found numerous civil judgments against this company and owner Bryan Potter, 2 of which totaled $53,000. According to court records these are both in the process or have been processed for garnishment to force this person/company to pay what they owed for breaching contracts. I wish I did this search before he stole my deposit and did absolutely NO work. Do not use this company by this name or many others. Do your research and look up his name, Bryan Potter, to save you from the same fate that unfortunately I suffered. Facts speak for themselves. Second update: This owner reconciled his debt with me and my husband for the full amount of $1280 but only after the filing of charges for felony theft. Up to the last minute he personally attacked me and my husband with disgusting texts. I feel strongly that he would have kept our money and stuck to his lies and perverse justifications if not for my efforts and the help from our justice system that I set in motion. The business and owner is far from trustworthy and I would not recommend it to anyone. Know your rights as a consumer and do your due diligence in gathering references and reviews before doing business."

"Hired RoofSTL because we had major issues with our gutters. I always do research on those I hire and came across these reviews and presented them to Bryan. He was professional in his responses and gave me numerous contacts and references. Within telling him that he was hired he was out within days (held up because of rain). His sons are professional and knowledgeable. Bryan and his sons kept me up to date on what the were finding and never left me in the dark. They invited me up on my roof so they could explain what they found. His pricing is fair and he even fixed a few things for the same quote that he gave me for the gutter work. I would recommend roofSTL to anyone that needed work done. They kept a clean work site and my roof was left like they were not even there. The work was professionally done and Bryan showed me how the product worked before and after it was installed in the gutters. I have nothing bad to say about this company. The negative reviews either seem to be fake or they are not telling the whole story. My expectations were met and exceeded. Would hire them again in a heart beat if I had any other issues with my roof without a second thought. Bryan also never subcontracts. That is hard to find now and days. It's just an honest family company, and I was happy I could support them. Added on 6/5/2015 After my experience above, I hired the same company to do additional work. I wish Google would let me post multiple reviews because this company does not deserve anything other than 5 stars. These guys have bent over backwards to help me. I live in an older home and a lot of little problems come up with older homes. RoofSTL has saved me over 7 thousand dollars based on quotes I received from other companies for the exact same work they did. RoofSTL came back to help me with some plumbing problems I was having. Big job that I had multiple quotes for, all of which were extremely expensive. I called RoofSTL and got the same service for a fraction of the cost. I wish I could give them more stars than are available. I seriously owe these guys big. I no longer call any other company for the problems I have in my house. Every job that RoofSTL has been called to do has been done right the first time. I am very happy I called RoofSTL and I hope that this review will convince others to call them as well. You won't be disappointed with the work you receive. You get more than what you pay for with this company, hands down the best company I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with."

"My experience with Roof STL was nothing but exceptional! I don't know what the people in the other reviews are talking about. I hired Brian's company to do repairs around the chimney on my roof and clean the gutters. I told him to just throw what was in the gutters into the yard and i would clean it up. That's not what happened. All the debris was removed and hauled away, and the gutters sprayed clean. I no longer have any issues with water getting in around my chimney, and the repairs look great! They were very clean, professional, affordable, and provided service beyond my expectations. I will recommend Roof STL to anyone i can."
