"I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Pitts. I was referred to another orthopedic surgeon for my carpel tunnel. It would have been months before I could have the needed surgery due to scheduling. A prompt care highly recommended Dr. Pitts. His office was able to see me the same week from the referral. The entire office staff was friendly and very professional. On top of that the Thompson office was much less busy than other Augusta locations. Dr. Pitts performed the surgery and did an excellent job. He is an phenomenal surgeon with great bedside manner. He explained the procedure and the possible complications in detail. The surgery went very smoothly and I was fully back to normal activities within 4 weeks. I was driving within a couple days. The scaring is now hardly noticeable and all symptoms of Carole Tunnel have vanished. I was initially very hesitant about the University McDuffie Hospital since it was such a small hospital that I have never really heard much about. To my surprise the hospital experience was also great. It seemed that the nurses and entire staff could spend just a little more time with patients and weren’t quite as rushed as the main University campus. I would HIGHLY recommend considering Dr. Pitts for any orthopedic needs. If you’re experience is anything like mine you will not be disappointed, in fact you will be very thankful you did confident him because of how great he is!"

"Dr. Pitts is a wonderful physician. His bedside manner, knowledge and compassion is the best. After he did my carpal tunnel surgery he personally called to check to see how I was doing. I have never had a doctor to call me for follow up, it has always been the nurse. My carpal tunnel procedure went great. Had procedure on Thursday and returned to work on Monday. I highly recommend him."
