"My wife had her first regular checkup with Taiwanna Brown-Bolds, and there were a few key points we needed to discuss. However, our experience with her was disappointing. As soon as she walked into the room, she mistook me for my wife's father and laughed about it. This was strange, considering I'm the same age as my wife, who is 25 years old. When I tried to answer questions about my wife's health on her behalf since she doesn't speak English well, Taiwanna Brown-Bolds interrupted and told me to sit down and not speak. She asserted that she had 27 years of experience and knew how to do her job. Despite my wife's explanation that I was simply helping her communicate. She ignored us and dismissed any issues that didn't pertain to my wife's migraines. She stated that any additional medical concerns would need to be addressed in a future visit. Doctor did not provide any explanations to us or answer our questions. Only She asked questions and we responded. Later that day, we check myatriumhealth for visit notesand discovered some incorrect information related to her health issue. My wife and I felt disrespected and uncomfortable during our interaction with her, and we have decided not to return."

She asked a lot of questions and really made me feel at ease. The office is very well run and all of the nurses were kind and professional. They have labs on-site which was very convenient. After researching, I found Dr. Brown-Bolds was joining a practice (taking over from a retiring physician) not far from my home and decided to call her office to schedule. The staff, BJ and Meredith, are amazing personable and very professional ladies that make you feel at ease and that they care. This was a precursor to the Doctor herself. Dr Brown-Bolds wore a mask but she immediately put me at ease with her caring touch and warm smile. She asks questions, listens intently and wants her patients engaging in their healthcare. She offers suggestions for certain treatment and explains why. I have found my perfect doctor! I would highly recommend Dr. Brown-Bolds and her staff to anyone seeking a new physician."
