"My son has autism. Dr Rix and her team are so patient with him and really care about making sure he has a good experience each time he comes. Highly recommend."
"I would highly recommend not visiting this office. There are many different covid policies in effect during September of 2023. She will not allow two children from the same family to be in the same room. Do not support this business unless you are supportive of the covid agenda."
"When we first started taking our son here we thought it was nice, they involved the child and parent in what was going on and the tools they were using to clean his/her teeth no matter the child’s age (ours is a toddler) we are the type of parents that no matter our child’s age we like being involved so finding a dr that thinks parent involvement is important is great! We’ll fast forward to our most recent visit and not only did dr rix not allow both parents back yet had her assistant in the room holding my toddler down which I’ll let you know why that bothered me in just a minute. She also didn’t walk our son through with the materials she was going to do, show him or me the picture of his teeth, or tell him why he was there regardless of if I knew or not the patient should feel comfortable being in the chair. When she told my child to open their mouth the used a tool to hold his mouth open the entire time, told me that the reason he was squirming was only because he didn’t want to hold his mouth open and not because he was in pain even though I could clearly hear him saying ouch while she was trying to numb his teeth or put them to sleep she called it so they wouldn’t feel any pain. Which I thought was very unprofessional because at this point he was balling his eyes out!! She was just in a hurry to get the filling procedure over with instead of making sure her patient was comfortable and trying to keep him and his mom comfortable during the whole thing. Also once the whole thing was over not only did I see her shake her head in front of me trying to console my crying child but I was definitely trying to get out of there asap because I couldn’t believe they were trying to schedule him for his 6 month fallow up even though I seen that the fallowing month they won’t be accepting our insurance then anyway… even if they were I would have a serious talking to if I were to even consider taking my son back here for how rude and unprofessional she was!! To say that I was angry when leaning this place was to say the least!!!"
"Let me first say I do NOT like leaving bad reviews. I don't think I ever have, but I absolutely will not recommend this office to anyone. I tried to schedule an appointment for cleanings for my children who have been seen in this office since they were a year old. They are now 5 & 7. I was told that it has been two years since their last cleaning and they are now considered new patients. Their office is not accepting new patients at this time- they will not see my children. I looked back & it has NOT been two years since their last appointment so I called back. I was then told the date is not two years, but 1 and a half years for them to be considered "new patients". Then the lady on the phone said its because they are not accepting children with caresource insurance. First, they would not be "accepting" my children. They are current patients regardless if its been two years or 1 and a half. Second, she never even asked how I planned to pay or if our insurance has changed. Third, why not be honest to start with? They are dropping children who are not on insurance plans that work best for them. I am beyond upset. I hate it for my children who are now going to have to get use to a new office & new faces. --Find a dentist who loves their job and the children they are working with, its not Dr. Rix or her staff."
"Never will be back! The staff is sweet but DR Rix is terrible my 5 yr old felt everything after her giving him 4 shots to cap a tooth he Literally was hurting so bad and crying while she was capping it his back was pure sweat when he finally got up! This was his second time at the dentist an he was traumatized! I’m just shocked she didn’t stop after clearly he wasn’t numb!!!"
