Serving as the medical operations leader for Tanner Heart Care at Tanner Health System, Dr. Khawaja brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his patients.

Dr. Khawaja earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama and honed his skills through a residency in internal medicine at Albany Medical College, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical School and in interventional cardiology at the University of Minnesota. Further advancing his proficiency, he received specialized training in peripheral vascular interventions at the Arizona Heart Institute.

Our practice is dedicated to advancing heart health, with services ranging from preventive screenings to complex interventional procedures like angioplasty and stenting. We are also excited to be moving closer to launching an open-heart program in Carrollton, enhancing our ability to provide life-saving care.
