"Horrible company and scam. They would not release my car back to me after finding out they drove my car over the state line without my knowledge and ok to Troy, Il. They charged me 250.00 for administrative fees. 250.00 for consultation on my vehicle. 250.00 estimate. Then 200.00 a day for storage. I was asked to drop my vehicle off at a location that was never open, which I did not know. I dropped my car off on Thursday, June 13, in St. Ann, MO. Monday, June 17th, I received a call that my car was moved from that location to another location across the State Line. I asked what was the reason my vehicle was moved and they then advised me the location I was told to drop my car at was not open and could not open because of not having the correct ventilation system. So they had me dropping my vehicle off at a location that was never open. Then, I moved it to Troy, IL, without my knowledge. I had to call the police because they would not give me my Audi back until they received payment from my insurance company. Let me add that they had not done any work on my vehicle but were charging me $1,750 to have my car released back to me. The insurance company advised them that they do not handle business like that being that my car was drivable, I should have been able to drop my car off for a estimate and been able to pick-up vehicle until the insurance is approved the estimate. But no, this company keeps your car to the estimate and will not let you get a car until the insurance company approves the estimate. Then, The Hail Group would do the work, and then, and only then, they would release the car back. This whole time, my car is usable, but once you give them your keys, you can't get your car back without them doing the repair or paying all of their fees. The Hail Group is a scam, and if I can stop other people from going through what I have been through, I will continue to tell my story. I had to pay $1,400 to get my car back, I did not want it at this company another day. To make it worse, my car was marked up with blue dots, I guess to show the insurance company all the damage. I had over 50 marks on my they are frauded the insurance companies. Response to owner: Please stop lying! Yes, you called and asked how you could make this right. You said you would give me my $1,400 back only if I took down all the bad reviews I have done. I stated to you that I would like the $1,400 that I paid your company to get my car back. Also, $600.00 for the stress this has caused. I had to come back from my birthday vacation early to see what was going on with my car, me trying to pick up my car and having to call the police. Then, I have to come back the next day to pay you to get my car. Blackmailing you? Josh, please stop with the madness! Not anyone that I know has written a review about The Hail Group but ME. Consumers need to know about The Hail Group."
"I gave a stellar review a few months ago…HUGE mistake! The technician jacked my roof up! I have water coming in my car (while in a car wash), horrible watermarks on the roof/above my passenger window. There’s also a hole in the roof that was NEVER there! I have included my live video and picture. I left a voicemail for Logan and texted the videos & photo to him. Let’s see if I get a response."

"The biggest joke ever. First off, an hour late! Then Josh tells me he won't give me an estimate unless I let him go directly through my insurance. What??? I said he would be paid through my bank. I have already paid the deductible and been paid by the insurance company. It has a hold awaiting an estimate and check would be cut directly to the company doing the work. If there is more damage then what is in the bank, I take that to my insurance. I do not need your company to do that for me so you can stick your hands in the cookie jar. I know how this works as I have worked with insurance companies and homeowners for many years. So...Josh refused to give me an estimate. He was rude and said that is not how it works buddy...buddy? So, I told him to have a good day and stuck out my hand, he refused to shake it and walked off with an attitude. I would not recommend the hail group. If any company tells you they can't give you an estimate without going through your insurance company...then find another company to do the work. You just texted me asking if you could clarify. The fact that you need to be dishonest in your response shows the integrity of your business. I was not a customer because I chose not to use you! You were however at my home to give an estimate and your representative was one of the rudest people I have had the pleasure of meeting."
