Reviews
"There are pretty views at all the lakes here, and paved walking paths around the park. There is some shade, but a lot of the path is in the sun. On the west end of the park there is a hiking path called Turtle Creek Trail. We walked along that one a little and there is lots of shade. We didn't take the whole thing because we didn't know how long it was, and we wanted to explore the lake some more. There are three entrances to the park from Lakeview Dr. The one to the west is from Waterworks Rd. That's closest to the largest lake, the Turtle Creek Trail, and the dog park. The entrance in the middle is from Stockel Ln. That is closest to the dock on the smallest lake. The eastern entrance is at S. Library St. and is closest to the medium-size lake. There is a gazebo here, and some picnic tables, as well as the veterans memorial."
"Nice park for walks to to take your lunch to and eat in the shade"
"I love the lakes. I'm looking forward to doing a little kayaking when it warms up a little bit more. You can rent the pavilions through the city."
"Very nice display of military recognition for the people who served in all of our wars."
"Great walking trails, dog park, tennis courts, playground, fishing dock and very dog friendly trail with bathroom stations. Restrooms for humans too and picnic areas"
